by Take a POV journey through the subway stations of New York City, starting from the last uptown stop of the 1 train and traveling all the way downtown into the heart of the city, where I spend the night exploring different stations and absorbing the atmosphere and ambiance. For this project, I attached a DJI action camera to a chest mount and even cut a hole through my hoodie to film as discreetly as possible. I wanted to be like a fly on the wall, observing the people and surroundings and capturing the natural state of things without drawing too much attention to myself or disturbing the environment around me. The journey begins after midnight and continues through the early morning hours, as the city slowly begins to wake up.
